Why Don’t I See a 48" Hardwire Natural Option on Kloe or Sepherina?

A customer asked us: “I have a question for both products - Kloe Rattan Pendant Light and Sepherina Rattan Pendant Light. I don't see an option to select a 48-inch Hardwire Natural cord. What should I do?”
why don’t i see a 48' hardwire natural option on kloe or sepherina

If you are looking at the Kloe Rattan Pendant Light or the Sepherina Rattan Pendant Light and cannot find a separate 48" Hardwire Natural option, you are not imagining the mismatch. Both product pages still describe hardwired installation as available in 48", 120", and 180" adjustable lengths, but the public selectors currently show Natural hardwire options in 120" and 180", not a separate 48" Natural hardwire variant.

In practical terms, that means the 120" Natural option is the one to choose if you want the natural-cord look and plan to shorten it to fit your space. There is a bit of a "mismatch" between the technical specs and the actual buttons you see on the page, but getting that perfect 48-inch natural cord look is actually easier than it looks. Let’s clear up the confusion.

What the Kloe and Sepherina specs currently say

When you look at the fine print under the "Specs" section for these lights, it usually lists hardwired lengths in three tiers: 48", 120", and 180" adjustable lengths.

Naturally, this makes you look for a specific button labeled "48" Hardwire Natural." However, when you go to the dropdown menu, you likely only see:

  • 120" Hardwire Natural
  • 180" Hardwire Natural
  • 48" Gold Chain Hardwire

It’s that 48" Gold Chain option that usually causes the most confusion because it feels like the "48-inch" slot is already taken by a different style, leaving the natural cord version nowhere to be found.

The 120" vs. 48" Mismatch: Why the separate option is "missing"

Here is the "insider" secret: At Rowabi, we’ve moved toward a more flexible approach. Instead of stocking a separate cord that is exactly 4 feet long, we’ve made the 120" Hardwire Natural our standard "natural look" variant.

Think of it like buying a pair of high-quality jeans that are a little too long in the leg. It is much easier to hang them to your perfect height than to add fabric to a pair that’s too short. By choosing the 120-inch cord, you aren't just getting "too much string". You're getting an adjustable safety net.

What to choose if you want a natural cord without a long drop

If your project requires the light to hang roughly 48 inches from the ceiling and you want that organic, hand-wrapped, natural look, here is exactly what you should do:

Choose the "120" Hardwire Natural" option.

Don't let that "120-inch" number (about 10 feet) scare you off. Selecting this variant doesn't mean your light has to hang that low. During installation, your electrician can easily shorten the cord to 48 inches, or even 30 inches, in just a few minutes.

The extra length simply tucks away into the ceiling canopy or can be trimmed to fit. It gives you the same practical fit as a 48-inch cord, but with the added peace of mind that if you change your mind or your ceiling is slightly higher than you measured, you have the room to adjust.

Final guidance for 48-inch-style installations

To put it simply, we didn't get rid of the 48-inch natural look; we just gave it more "breathing room."

  • If you want a bit of shine and a vintage feel, go with the 48" Gold Chain.
  • If you want the earthy, textured look of wrapped fiber (Natural look): Select the 120" Hardwire Natural.

By choosing the 120-inch version, you're actually buying flexibility. It’s the safest way to ensure your Kloe or Sepherina pendant sits at the perfect height, right in the sweet spot of your line of sight, without the stress of a "one-size-fits-only" cord.

Have you already measured your ceiling height? If you’re working with a sloped ceiling or a particularly tricky space, don’t hesitate to let us know. Our expert can help you figure out exactly how much of that 120-inch cord you'll end up using!
