FAQ

How does the Vela influence the lighting ambiance of a room?

Thanks to its natural jute material, the Vela acts as an organic filter that casts a soft, diffused glow. It is specifically designed to eliminate harsh glares, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation and cozy living.

What are the key dimensions of the Vela Flush Mount?

The lampshade measures 14" in diameter and 9" in height. Its compact, close-to-ceiling profile makes it a high-impact decorative piece that doesn't overwhelm the vertical space of your room.

How do I calculate if the Vela is the right size for my space?

For a balanced look, the 14" diameter of the Vela works best in rooms approximately 10' x 10' to 12' x 12'. A quick designer rule is to add the room's length and width in feet (e.g., 10+10=20); the resulting number in inches (20") is the maximum recommended diameter, making the 14" Vela a perfect, subtle fit.

What are the technical and safety specifications?

The Vela is UL Listed for safety and features a G9 bulb base (60W maximum). It is fully dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light intensity to match the time of day, and requires a standard hardwire installation.

How does the Vela maintain its appearance over time?

To ensure long-lasting beauty, the fixture is engineered to be water, dust, and scratch-resistant. The high-quality jute and metal components are treated to maintain their "flawless look," ensuring the natural brown tones remain vibrant in any indoor dry location.
